The staff really need to prioritize hygiene and keeping the service counter clean. Finger marks, spilled smoothies, straw papers, fruit chunks on the floor, wet and streaked floors behind the counter, scoops just lying around, peanut butter tub left open for hours just standing on the counter waiting for contamination. The sitting area was also not cleaned for at least an hour. The staff are all behind the counter or in the kitchen, but empty cups, plates and spillage is just left unattended. The following day, the cups were gone but the spill still there all dried up, meaning it was never wiped down the day before. Something spilled down the front of the counter, looks like coffee. I mentioned it to the staff member as the floor was also sticky, its been 3 days and the counter front stains ate still there! Please address this, as I kind of dont want to order smoothie fearing for getting sick because of the lack of hygiene.

Kauai coffee is now the reason I visit the gym. Thabang makes a killer skinny cap and the staff is always friendly, even when they are crazy busy!

Thabang is a great, enthusiastic waiter! The food portion size is alot smaller than other Kauai's. But the new renovations makes it look and feel amazing.

I would like to give special mention to Dollyn at Rooihuiskraal VA. Apart from her friendly smile, radiant personality and willingness to assist, she honestly makes the best smoothies I have ever tasted. I literally wait until she is working before I order a smoothie. She is a wonderful asset to Kauai and indeed the VA group as a whole. It really is a pleasure to deal with her.
