KAUAI Vincent Park

Hi Kauai Team, I’m writing to report an uncomfortable experience at your Kauai Vincent branch today around 18:00. I am a regular customer at this branch and usually visit after work or on weekends. I ordered a sit-in decaf cappuccino and a steak & avo wrap. The coffee was served in a takeaway cup despite being a sit-in order, and it tasted noticeably stronger than expected for decaf. I did not raise this at the time, as I did not want to cause unnecessary disruption. While seated, I overheard the same staff member who made my order openly discussing their dislike for a customer and mentioning that they sometimes respond negatively to customers they perceive as having “off moods” or using their phones. This conversation took place within earshot of customers and made me feel uncomfortable and uncertain about the quality of my order. I would also like to mention that the same staff member who handled this order has previously made order-capture mistakes with my orders. For example, on a prior visit when I ordered an iced Americano, I was given an iced cappuccino instead. I did not complain at the time, but I feel it is relevant to note as it suggests a recurring issue. I would like to be clear that I am not seeking for anyone to get into trouble or lose their job. I am simply dissatisfied with the experience, as it has affected my trust in this branch. As a result, I don’t foresee myself returning to this location going forward. Unfortunately, I also don’t have the option of using the Beacon Bay store, as it is VA-only, which limits alternatives in my area. This restaurant caters for vegans and has gluten free options. Very tasty food and pleasant surroundings. Staff are efficient and friendly.

I would just like to thank Sibonelelo at Kauai, for her amazing service today. There was a misunderstanding between me and another lady which had me in tears. The lovely Sibonelelo stepped in and spoke such kind words towards me, calmed me down, hugged me and even brought me a glass of water. You deserve a raise my girl, you really went over and above. Thank you for showing me such kindness, I will always and forever treasure your kindness. May you be blessed wherever you go. Lots of love ❤️
